Q: What is the terms & conditions?

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made from Buy24-7 or Buy24-7online via eBay.

By bidding items from Buy24-7online via eBay or using the Buy24-7 website, you acknowledge and warrant that you have acquainted yourself with the terms, conditions and disclaimers herein as amended from time to time. You agree to be bound by these terms and conditions by placing a bid or order.

National Privacy Principles

Buy24-7 is committed to the protection of your personal information. Buy24-7 is subject to the National Privacy Principles (NPPs) under the Privacy Act 1988.

The NPPs govern the way Buy24-7 collects, uses, discloses and secures information from its customers. They also permit you to access the information Buy24-7 holds about you in order to correct or update it.

Further information in relation with the NPPs may be obtained in the Privacy Commissioner’s website at www.privacy.gov.au.

Collection and Use of Information

Buy24-7 may collect and hold information such as your name, address, contact details and other necessary information for the purpose of providing its online trading service to you.

Most of the information will be collected through your placing of bid or won the auction with Buy24-7online via eBay. Buy24-7 may also record your email address when email is received from you.

Personal information collected by Buy24-7 will be used principally for the purpose of conducting our online trading business. This may include providing information about additional products and services that may be of interest to you. You may at any time inform Buy24-7 your option not to be included in its mailing or contact lists for any future marketing material.

Disclosure of Information

Buy24-7 will not disclose any of your personal information to any third parties unless:

  • authorised by you; or
  • necessarily required for the purpose of fulfilling your orders; or
  • required by law to disclose such information.

Buy24-7 is committed not to reveal any of the customers’ personal information to any external organisations under any other circumstances.

Buy24-7 is committed to ensure that every customer’s personal information is encrypted and held securely at all times and that the information will be used with reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorised use or disclosure and to maintain confidentiality.

Disposal of Information

Buy24-7 will retain your information for at least seven years in order to meet legal and business requirements. Once information is no longer required, it will be destroyed in a secure manner.

Transactions involving minors

As under the law, contract cannot be entered with a person under the age of 18 (a minor), In completing the auction with Buy24-7online via eBay and/or placing orders with the Buy24-7, you warrant that you are aged 18 or above.

Should Buy24-7 suffer any damage or loss as a result of a transaction entered by a minor, Buy24-7 will reserve its right to seek compensation from the parents or guardian of the minor.

Trademark and other intellectual properties

Buy24-7 reserves all rights and ownership to all information and materials on its website including but not limiting to its trademark, images, illustrations, designs and other similar intellectual properties which are protected by copyright.

No information or materials on its website are allowed to be copied, reproduced, or used in any manner unless prior written consent is given by Buy24-7.

Disclaimer

While every care will be taken by Buy24-7 to provide an adequate description of a sale item on its website, Buy24-7 has no warranty that the description, which is in a brief form and accompanied with a picture of the item, will accurately and fully describe the actual item. Occasionally, typographical error or unintentional slip in the description might happen.

Where picture of a sale item is provided, you should be aware that actual colour or visual appearance may differ from the actual good.

Buy24-7 shall not be responsible or held liable for any damage or loss to customers whatsoever arising in connection with any inaccuracy or inadequacy in the description or illustration of any sale item.

Trading terms and conditions

Price:

  • All prices quoted by Buy24-7 are given in Australian dollars.
  • All prices include GST unless otherwise stated.

Order:

  • Order is to be placed by bidding via eBay
  • Please ensure that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and the Return Policy before placing a bid.
  • For the winner of the auction, you have to oblige to complete the transaction. If you want to cancel the transaction, handling fee will be charged.

Payment:

  • Payment must be made within 7 days from the date of the order.
  • Payment should be made within 3 days after the end of listing. If no payment has been received within this period, a payment reminder will be sent to you automatically. If the payment still has not been received within 7 days after the end of listing, Buy 24-7 has the option to relist this item. The highest-bidder will be considered as NON-Pay buyer. Payment strike and negative feedback will be filed via Ebay. Buy24-7 will reserve its rights to seek damages or loss in respect of your non payment.
  • Buy24-7 accepts internet deposit banking, money order, cheques (all cheques including bank cheques are subject to clearance, normally 3 business days.
  • We highly recommend DIRECT DEPOSIT VIA INTERNET TRANSFER.
  • Please always quote your Ebay ID with your payment as reference otherwise the payment may not be able to identify and delivery will be delay.
  • Your payment should include the item price and the postage/handling fee (details as each item description). Short payment or late payment will delay the delivery.
  • We offer a 50% discount on the shipping if all the items were won within 48 hours provided to be paid at the same time and delivered as one shipment, i.e. one payment and one shipment. (click here for details). Full shipping will be charged for the item with the highest shipping cost, remaining items will be charged at 50%. Just wait for all your items to end before making payment.

90-Day Policy:

    Since ebay only allows us to keep bidding records for 90 days, we are not responsible for the following situations 90 days after bidding:

  • Unlocated payment: payment made with insufficient information such as not quoting ebay ID as payment reference.
  • Incorrect or uncompleted postal address.
  • Not completing additional payment for short-paid item.

Delivery:

  • Delivery will be limited to within Australia.
  • Delivery will be normally via the Australia Post – eParcel or courier service. Signature will be required upon delivery.
  • The option of shipping/delivery method will be at Buy24-7’s discretion.
  • Please allow 15 working days for delivery once payment has been received and cleared. In most cases, delivery will take place within 3 days.
  • Please provide correct address, otherwise we will charge buyer handling & postage again if the item is returned to us due to incorrect or incomplete postal address.
  • No pickups – Please note that Buy24-7 does not operate any customer pickup centres and all goods ordered will be delivered directly from Buy24-7’s or its suppliers’ warehouses.

Insurance:

  • Purchase Price Less than $60: Insurance fees $2
  • Purchase Price $61-$200: Insurance fees $3
  • Purchase Price $201-$500: Insurance fees $5
  • Purchase Price $501-$1000: Insurance fees $8
  • Purchase Price Over $1001: Insurance fees $10

Warranty:

  • Buy24-7 is committed to providing satisfactory products and services to customers. Products are covered by a 14 day, 30 day or 90 day return to base warranty or manufacturer’s warranty, as described on item listing for the respect products. (Please note that warranty terms are different from product to product.)
  • Warranty is only valid within Australia.
  • Warranty period will count from the date of original purchase invoice to the original product (in case replacement occurs).

Returns and Replacement / Refunds:

  • All goods are sold on a no return basis, unless the items are found to be dead on arrival, damaged in transit or otherwise stated to be returnable under a Buy24-7 warranty or manufacturer’s warranty or by law.
  • Normally Buy24-7 will not handle returns under manufacturer’s warranty as the warranty is provided by the manufacturer directly. Please contact the relevant manufacturer directly and/or visit their website for more information about the warranty. Please be aware that if you undertake any repair work yourself or by an unauthorised repair you may cause the manufacturer’s warranty to be void.
  • A dead on arrival (DOA) item must be claimed within 14 days from date of dispatch. A return authorization number (RA number) will be given to the DOA item. Any DOA item must be returned to us within 7 days upon receipt of the RA number. Return postage is buyer's expense. If product to be returned after 7 days from receipt of the RA number, postage for both ways will be at buyer's expense
  • The option of return/replacement shipping/delivery method will be at Buy24-7’s discretion.
  • Buyer will liable for the both ways postage after 14 days of our dispatch if item under the replacement guarantee period.
  • Buy24-7 will test all items returned as DOA within 21 days of the returned items into Buy24-7’s warehouse. If any returned item is found to be in full working condition, Buy24-7 will charge you a fee of $30.00 to cover its handling and testing fee and the item will be delivered back to you at buyer’s expense.
  • If a product sold with Buy24-7’s return to base warranty is claimed to be faulty, which is not due to misuse or normal wear and tear, Buy24-7 will offer you replacement or refund as replacement is not available, if the item is returned to Buy24-7’s warehouse within the warranty period with a detailed description of the fault. Shipping costs are not refundable.
  • If no fault is found or if the fault is found to be due to misuse or normal wear and tear, or is not covered by any warranty, Buy24-7 will return the good to you at buyer's expense.
  • All products must be returned with the original packing materials with all accessories included.
  • DOA or faulty items will be replaced. Buy24-7 will offer refund only if no replacement stock is available.
  • Refunds will be by cheques.
  • Handling & postage fee are non refundable.
  • No refunds will be offered due to your change in mind or incorrect placing of order.

Feedback

We suggest buyer to leave feedback after received the item. We will automatically leave the positive feedback when buyer has paid for the item and left seller positive feedback. Please contact us before to leave negative feedback in order to allowing us to fix the possible error. If buyer choose to leave a negative feedback, we will consider that this is a conclusion and no further action will be considered.

Liability

Any liability of Buy24-7 in relation to any good sold to you will, subject to any non-excludable liability under the law, be limited to the replacement of the good or refund of the purchase price.

Changes to Terms & Conditions

Each order is governed by the terms and conditions current when the order is placed. Buy24-7 may from time to time, add to, delete or otherwise change the terms and conditions herein without notice. Please read and understand these terms and conditions each time you place an order.

Applicable Law

These terms and conditions are subject to the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Q: Can I buy an item at a fix price?

A: Yes, you can buy an item at the ‘buy it now price’ , or you may want to bid to win the item

Q: How can I get more information on a product?

A: We always do our best to provide you as much information on a product as we can on the listing. All pictures within listing are for illustration purposes only and we do not take responsibility for printing mistakes. If you still have more questions, you can either send us an email or visit the suppliers website for details.

Q: How do I find out more technical information on the item?

A: We are given all the technical specifications/infromation as much as possible by our vendors in order to assist you to make your purchase decision. Although our staff are keen to answer the questions regarding to electronics, IT & consumer goods, however, we don't always have the experts to answer the very detailed and technical questions require by our buyers. If we have the information that you require, we will respond as soon as possible. If not, we would suggest our bidders to do a bit of their own research on the internet. There are websites that provide a lot of technical information on a wide range of products that can assist your purchase decision.

PAYMENT QUESTIONS

Q: When should I pay for an item that I have won?

A: Payment should be made within 3 days after the end of listing. If no payment has been received within this period, a payment reminder will be sent to you automatically. If the payment still has not been received within 7 days after the end of listing, Buy 24-7 has the option to relist this item. The highest-bidder will be considered as NON-Pay buyer. Payment strike and negative feedback will be filed via Ebay.

Q: Is the item price GST inclusive?

A: Yes, the item price has included GST.

Q: How much should I pay for an item that I have won?

A: Your payment should include the item price and the postage/handling fee (details as each item description). Short payment or payment not quoted item number will delay the delivery.

Q: Can I get a discount on the postage/handling fee for the multiple items?

A: If you win more than 1 item within 48 hours, and you pay the multiple items as one payment and accept them to be delivered as one shipment, you will get a 50% discount on the postage/handling fee from the second item and thereafter, which means you only need to pay the highest postage/handling fee for one item plus 50% of postage/handling fee for each additional item.

Q: How do I pay for an item that I have won?

A: The following payment methods are accepted: Direct Deposit from Internet Transfer, Personal Cheques, Banks Cheques and Money Orders. We highly recommend DIRECT DEPOSIT VIA INTERNET TRANSFER. Please always quote your ITEM NUMBER with all your payment details as a reference ,otherwise we are unable to identify your payment and delay your delivery accordingly. We DO NOT ACCEPT CASH DEPOSITS, CREDIT CARDS, PAYPAL, PAYMATE,ESCROW,WESTERN UNION MONEY ORDERS OR BIDPAY.

Q: Do you accept COD (cash on delivery)?

A: COD (cash on delivery) is not available.

Q: Insurance Fees:

A: Insurance is optional, Buy24-7 will not be responsible for items lost and damage in transit if insurance is NOT paid

    SHIPPING & DELIVERY QUESTIONS

    Q: Why I cannot pick up the item?

    A: Buy 24-7 sells a large range of products from quality vendors. To ensure the quick delivery, the item will be sent out by each vendor directly, so pickup is not available in any circumstances.

    Q: Do I need to confirm the delivery address?

    A: To ensure a quick and correct delivery, please email us your preferred delivery address after your payment.

    Q: Can the item be delivered to PO Box?

    A: We understand it is not always available to have someone at home/office for the delivery, we accept PO box as delivery address, so you can pick up the item from your local post office at your convenient time.

    Q: When the item will be delivered?

    A: Buy 24-7 will arrange the delivery within 3 working days after your payment has been cleared. Although in most cases delivery is much quicker, please allow 15 days shipping time from the date of payment.

    Q: What should I do if I have not received the item after 15 days from the date of payment?

    A: If you have not received your item after 15 days from the date of payment, please email us within 30 days from the date of payment otherwise we will be unable to trace it. To trace a delivery can take 14 business days. Don’t worry, all the delivery from Buy24-7 has full transit insurance, so if an item gets mislaid in transit, you will receive a replacement as soon as we hear back from the courier.

    WARRANTY AND RETURNS QUESTIONS

    Q: On what circumstance, I can return the item?

    A: : Please email us if the item is DOA (dead on arrival) within 14 days from the date of dispatch. A return authorization number (RA) will be given for the DOA item. Any DOA Item must be returned to us within 7 days upon receipt our RA number. If a product to be returned after the 7 days from receipt of the RA number, postage for both ways will be at the buyer's expense. We will replace the item if the returned item has been found faulty after checking by our technician. However, you will be charged $30.00 if the returned item is found to be working and the item will be delivered back to you at your expense.We will only offer a cheque refund for the cost of the item if replacement is unavailable. (Postage/handling fee is not refundable).

    Q: How can I return the faulty item?

    A: You have to email us and obtain a RA number before returning any items. We will email you the return details, so you can return the DOA within 14 days from the date of dispatch. The DOA item must be sent back to us at buyer’s expense. We do not accept any item return by COD service. We do not accept drop off returns.

    Q: Shall I need to return the unit itself or with full packaging?

    A: The item should be returned with full packaging (including all accessories). We do not accept part returning and it will delay the RA process. If replacement is unavailable, a cheque refund will be offered only after the item has been returned with full packaging.

    Q: What if the item falls faulty after 14 days from the dispatch?

    A: Most of our product carries full manufacturer’s warranty. Please check the warranty card for details.If an item needs to be returned after the 14 day period, postage for both ways will be at the buyer's expense.

    Q: How can I make a Warranty claim?

    A: Please check the details for warranty on your warranty card or the manufacturer’s website. Please keep your purchase invoice and the warranty card together for a valid warranty claim.

    Q: Where should I send the item for a Warranty claim?

    A: Please contact the manufacturer for all the warranty service or get the nearest warranty centre’s details, please do not send the item to Buy 24-7 for a warranty claim.

    Q: Can I get an extended warranty?

    A: Sorry, we do not offer extended warranty. The warranty applies only to the original product. If you get a replacement, the warranty for the replacement starts from the date of purchase of the original product, not from the date you get the replacement.

    Q: Any other important issue that I should agree before placing the bid?

    A: By bidding on our auction(s) you are agreeing to our terms and conditions shown on FAQ section including the following issues. Please review our policies prior to placing your bid(s).
